And just for the record: We Love Two!
Anna is pointing at the camera and at herself...she needed to make sure we got her- how could we not :)
Kirby is getting a hold of it pretty quickly as well, but Anna has had a harder time adjusting to him being both her dad and Owen's dad. For some reason she got that me, mom, could have 2 kids, but not Kirby, he is only her dad...for the record, he is both Anna's and Owen's dad, Anna is just a little possessive of him.
So while Kirb and I are trying to adjust, Anna is as well. She has done great so far, really. But we all have are times when we are feeling a little neglected because the baby requires A LOT of time...and Anna has come up with her own tactic of getting our attention...
So, I just wanted to touch a little on how opposite my kids are--already (as babies that is)
When Anna was a baby verse Owen:
Anna took a pacifier without too much of a struggle
O hates the pacifier
Anna would sleep all the time, anywhere-- even right through feedings
Owen never misses a feeding- he is a picky sleeper
Owen never misses a feeding- he is a picky sleeper
Anna was a terrible nurser
To my GREAT relief, Owen will latch on all day long, if he could. He is an excellent eater!
I can count on one hand the number of times Anna spit up
Owen soaks burp rags and spits up after pretty much every feeding
Anna was a bobble head
Owen came out of the womb holding his head up, literally! (They set him on my belly and he looked right up at me)
Anna preferred the swing or the floor or the couch, not really in people's arms
Owen LOVES to cuddle
Even delivery was totally opposite...Anna's was smooth and painless
Owen's was drama and PAINFUL! (More on this when I get the pics from my dad)

Congrats on your new addition! And don't worry, you'll get the hang of it!
I love all the pictures, especially the one where Anna is in the car seat. So funny, hope we see you soon.
Tara, It's fun to see your cute little family! I hope everything is going well!
They're both beautiful Tara! And just wait until you have 5! I rarely get a shower before noon. ;)
