August we went on Trips

A wedding, A baby blessing, a funeral, a baptism...the circle of life (although not in that order), but that was the order of the trips we went on in August. One right after the other, every weekend.

The Wedding:
Seriously, how cool is this!? What bride really is okay with jumping on the trap in her beautiful dress?! and Val wasn't just okay with it, she had a blast! Love her! Look at her sister, all prego and jumping the highest of us all! And Kelliann, the cute cheerleader arms, smart! (alright, I was just a little worried about my dress flying up in the pic...you can't blame me, it's happened to me before!!)

She is SO loved! look at ALL her brides maids! See, I couldn't be the poop to miss out on this!

The Funeral:

This was such an unexpected situatioN! I can't put into words the way I feel when I think about this special, most amazing family! Kirby's cousin's daughter (Jada, what a beautiful name) was killed in a car accident this June. To read more about her and her family, check out her sister's, (Bridian) blog.

It truly will inspire you. I seriously can't stop reading once I start. I am floored by her strength and endurance through each stumbling block placed in her and her families path. It's almost unreal. I really am so grateful for her willingness to share with everyone her life, because it has honestly helped me in more than one way.

The funeral was up in northern Utah, so we made a weekend of it...We went to the zoo, hung out with family (one of my favorite nights-haven't laughed so hard in a long time) and old friends. It was sort of like our first vacation planned for just us. Yes, we saw family and hung out, but it was our little family trip.


The Baptism:

Well, I actually don't have any pictures of the actual baptism day...
Kirby's nephew, Ryan, was baptized! He is the sweetest little boy! I do have a picture of him with Annaka, because that night (after a long day: Pine Valley in the morning, baptism and get together, then family photos, and finally birthday cake and presents) we had a little party for Annaka (which she was a cry baby all the up until she got "Dori" toys). so I have a picture of Ryan being so sweet to Annaka when she was crying and trying to show her the cool gifts she got!
